A mellow, approachable Tennessee whisky, selected for it’s smooth-sipping character. A balanced whisky with aromas of light caramel and wood. A warm vanilla finish with hints of maple and buttered corn.
Tasting Notes
Old No. 8 is the classic whiskey that made George Dickel famous. The barrels used for No. 8 are aged to perfection, along with charcoal mellowing, deliver a bold whiskey with the Dickel signature balance of Tennessee flavours. Unconventionally the bottles use the traditional Scottish spelling of whisky (as opposed to whiskey). This is because George believed his product to be as smooth and high in quality as the best Scotch whiskies. Handcrafted and created to the Dickel style, this is a whiskey for those that want a classic 'smooth sippin' experience.
